5 little ducks.

Yesterday, 5 healthy ducklings hatched out of their eggs in our Nursery and are are now happily drying out in the brooder box. The children had the wonderful opportunity to watch the eggs crack and to observe the process as they pecked their way our into the world. We hope to start handling them today and learning about how to look after them.

Our planning in Nursery next week will center around the ducklings, helping to look after them, learning about their life cycle, drawing and making crafts linked to our experiences and the topic of Easter.
