At St. Mary’s we understand that starting school is a new and exciting, sometimes daunting, experience for your child and in many cases, for you as parents. We want to make this transition as easy as possible for you and your child, we hope our website helps to give you an insight into life at St. Mary’s and answers any questions you may have.

While our Catholic faith shapes our identity, we warmly welcome families of all faiths and none, fostering a culture of respect, inclusion and understanding.
We are proud to offer high-quality education from the earliest years onwards. Alongside our primary provision, our nursery provides places for two-year-olds, a 30-hour provision for three and four-year-olds, and wraparound care from 8.00am until 6.00pm, supporting families within our community. Our broad and engaging curriculum is designed to inspire curiosity, creativity and a lifelong love of learning, ensuring that every child is supported and challenged to reach their full potential.
The success of St Mary's is built upon the strong partnerships between our children, staff, parents, governors, parish and wider community. Together, we create a caring and aspirational environment where children are nurtured, encouraged and empowered to thrive. Excellent pastoral care, high expectations and a commitment to achievement ensure that our pupils leave St Mary's as confident, compassionate and successful young people, ready for the next stage of their journey.
St Mary's is federated with Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Primary School and is proud to be part of the Bishop Chadwick Catholic Education Trust.
