Class Worship!

This week we have been learning about other faiths. The focus of our learning was Judaism. Our class liturgy, prepared and presented by Ivy, Charlie and Holly, incorporated elements of Judaism. Our reading from Deuteronomy (part of the Shema) was read from a scroll to represent the Torah. Our symbol on display was the Star of David. The main theme of our liturgy was respect for all! 

A pebble was placed at the base of the cross and a special private prayer was said. The pebble was passed around our circle so that everyone could have a moment to pray. It was a lovely thought-provoking, respectful liturgy!
