Eco-Schools

Eco-Schools is a global programme engaging millions of children across 70 different countries. It is the largest environmental educational programme in the world.

At St Mary’s, we are very excited to be working towards the Eco-Schools Green Flag Award – we have already achieved our Bronze Award.

To work towards our award we have formed our Eco-Committee which consists of children and adults across school who all share an enthusiasm for being eco-friendly. They range from Nursery up to Year 6.

Our Eco-Committee have already started work on gathering evidence through the environmental review and are ready to tackle the next step in creating an action plan to help us make a difference.

We will be updating our website regularly with our ideas and activities as we work towards the award.  Please check back for updates on our progress.
