Playful Poetry in Year 6

This week in our English lessons, we have been exploring different forms of poetry. We were able to look at how to write a haiku and limericks. The children were able to show their poetic flare and we had great fun being able to be a little silly when creating our limericks. I thoroughly enjoyed hearing the children share their poems. This week, I have been particularly impressed with the work of Liam D. He worked hard and showed his natural flare in creating poetry and therefore, he is my Writer of the Week. Well done Liam!
