Remote Learning Year 6- Week Beginning 18/01/21
Year 6 what a strange start to our Spring Term we have had. You have all worked so hard to get yourselves used to the new format of our learning and are doing so well in joining our live lessons.
This week you have adapted your learning and wrote your first hot piece at home (which I am sure was very strange). You have been sending in your work and it is lovely to keep up with you all and see you in our live lessons.
Your confidence is growing in how to use Google Classroom and I know your parents/families will be just as proud as I am of you all, for how well you are adapting to this new way of learning.
In maths, you have all been working hard to learn about decimals and I have been so pleased with your multiplication and division skills and using the written methods to support this.
We cannot forget that we have also been working hard in RE and learning about sources and the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls. I received some lovely information posters!
I have also had some lovely feedback about how much you are enjoying our monarchs topic and some of you created excellent ideas for a Magna Carta in 2021.
I am looking forward to seeing all of you again in our live lessons next week as it is lovely to keep in touch with you all and feel like we are together in our lessons like when we are able to be in school.
Fantastic week Year 6! I also will start to take some pictures to add into our weekly posts.
