Year 5 have been studying natural resources in Geography this half term. Today, we were very luck to be visited by two wind turbine engineers from SIEMENS. They informed us about their roles at the company, explained a lot about renewable energy and even gave us the opportunity to experience a day in their lives through virtual reality!
We spoke about different renewable energy sources, labelled wind turbines and had a go at making our own working turbine.
