The Tiger Who Came to Tea

Reception have thoroughly enjoyed reading The Tiger Who Came to Tea and completing many different activities based around the book. They have enjoyed writing invitations, creating party lists and writing descriptions all about the tiger.

The children were shocked to receive a letter from the zookeeper who explained the tiger had became very sick after eating too much junk food. They were asked to create a healthy plate of food to make the tiger better ready for his birthday. The children enjoyed learning all about healthy food and how to look after our bodies in different ways. The tiger was so happy to receive their ideas that he threw a special tea party for reception today. He even managed to get the Easter Bunny to show up with a treat and some fun Easter/Spring activities.
