Y3 Making Crumble!

In DT we have been learning about preparing ang making food. We looked at making fruit crumble. We learned that crumble has been a traditional desert in England for many years. We selected fruits which were in season (so we could reduce the carbon footprint), we chose apples and raspberries. We learned about food hygiene and the importance of handwashing and of using a clean working space. We washed, peeled and chopped the fruit. Made the crumble, placed it in the oven then we took it home to eat!
