Year 4 make delicious pasta sauce!
On Tuesday, Year 4 worked in teams to prepare and cook a healthy vegetable pasta sauce as part of their food technology topic in D.T. The children learned about important food hygiene rules, how to safely chop vegetables and how vegetables can be ‘hidden’ within the sauce to add more nutrients.
On Wednesday, Janey and the kitchen staff kindly combine our sauce with some pasta and we got to carry out our taste test. We all agreed that it was delicious!
