Year 5- A day in the life

Yesterday, the children worked in groups to find out about the importance of water throughout the world. Each group was given a profile of a child and where in the world they were from (UK, USA, Ghana, Uruguay or India). They were given the chance to live a day in the life of someone else, find out how they access water, the choices they have to make, and how it all affects their life. They quickly realised how precious water was to some people and how wasteful others were.
