Year 6 Art Day- Designing Stone Age Homes
To complete their fun-filled day, the children worked in groups to design a Stone Age home. The children thought about why they would need shelter and what materials they would have had access to. The children completed research and designed their home. I spoke with each group who were excellent at telling me about their design and why they had certain features. Then came the tricky part… The children were tasked with building their homes outside. They loved being in the outdoors but said that this was a difficult task. They thought carefully how to problem solve and try to create their structures. Well done Year 6! You worked hard to design to a brief.
