Year 6- Injustice in our world

Today, the children began their new topic in RE. They thought about the terms unfair and unjust. The children thought about a time where they believed they had experienced unfairness or injustice. They shared their thoughts with their partners.

After this, they thought about the world and how CAFOD works to fight against injustice and unfairness across the globe. They took on the roles of different populations around the world and shared resources out according to percentages given from research. The children could clearly see the inequality in the world with the distribution of resources and they thought of excellent ways in which they could try to tackle this. This was a great visual for the children and something they certainly will remember.
