Year 6 Water Week- Wetlands

Today, the children in Year 6 investigated wetlands on our planet. We discussed where we would find these and how they are crucial in filtering water and even better… that they do this for free! We then created a model of a wetland to see how water is used and transported in these areas. We thought carefully about the impact humans are having on wetlands and how we can actively make a difference to these areas. The children thoroughly enjoyed making their model and seeing the results.
